What I've seen so far.
The April 30th town meeting
- This forum that was put together by County Supervisor Jeff Stone and was an enlightening event. Twenty candidates
including myself were put under the gun in a Q and A in front of the residents of this area. It is an obvious fact that
all of us are in favor of the Menifee Valley becoming a city. The two main reasons being, the use of our tax dollars
here in Menifee and taking away any possible annexation by a surrounding city.
I was very suprised when Mr. Stone
posed the question if any candidate would support the suspension/delay of residential building, I was the only candidate to
answer "YES". To watch the reaction of the people in the audience to all the "NO" answers and the
applause to my answer made it self evident to me that I may be the only candidate with the homeowner's
concerns in mind.
